Library Services and Resources Updates

• J-Stor Expanded Access (Extended until 6/30/23): J-Stor has extended temporary access to all 15 archival journal collections and 30,000+ ebooks to help with remote learning.

• Hermeneia Bible Commentary Series: The library has purchased this initially available 50-book ebook collection. The Hermeneia commentary series seeks to offer an authoritative interpretation of the earliest texts of the biblical books and other literature closely related to the Bible (NOTE: We only have access to the Hermeneia series of ebooks on Project Muse and none of the other eBooks on the platform).

• Gale eBooks: The link to the New Catholic Encyclopedia online has been renamed Gale eBooks to reflect the fact we have added new eBooks. We have added four more eBooks in addition to the existing New Catholic Encyclopedia eBooks.

• Library Loan Periods: Current loan periods will be normal but are subject to change if there is a demand for course-related books. If you need an extension, then please contact the library staff  (library@corriganlibrary.org) to see if you can extend them. 

• Email Reference: Additionally, you can email any questions, requests, or problems to the library and we will respond to you as soon as we can (library@corriganlibrary.org).

• Professor McLaughlin is available via email to review your papers as she typically would during the semester (Annmarie.Mclaughlin@archny.org).

• She is not available for in-person meetings until further notice. Instead, you can email her and set up a Zoom meeting to review your papers.
